NEWS WE DON'T GET

There are massive, important strikes and demonstrations occurring in Columbia that we are not hearing about in our mainstream media, where the lives of a shallow family called the Kardashians seems more important than what is happening to real people across the globe.

Our Navy continues is planning to intensify, rather than limit, its horrific practice of maiming and killing whales and dolphins with unbearable, inescapable blasts of sound, despite recommendations that they stop. Who will protect the innocent creatures of our planet?

THINK ROUNDUP IS NOT TOXIC TO HUMANS? THINK AGAIN.

If you think Roundup is not harmful to human beings, read this article. MIT studies have, like others, concluded that glyphosates, the main toxic ingredient in RoundUp, is dangerous to mammals.

The EPA, nevertheless, with a mandate to protect the public, recently increased the amount of glyphosates that we are allowed to have on our food. Never mind that large food producers wear head-to-toe protective gear when spraying this poison on the plants we are going to ingest. Our grandparents didn't wear protective gear when they went into their gardens to pull weeds.

Monsanto, the company that produces RoundUp (as well as genetically modified seed. And Agent Orange. And a long list of nasty products), makes over billion dollars a year in profits, however, and many top officials at the FDA were once top officials at Monsanto.
